Don't Sweat the Small Stuff

Review:

"Don't Sweat the Small Stuff...and it's all small stuff" could have the biggest single impact on your life than any other book you've read!

It has to my life. Shortly after finishing the book, I was in the supermarket with three items in the 10 items or less aisle and did not get "stressed" when the woman in front of me had 11 items.

In situations that had previously "stressed me out," I now find myself asking "Will this really matter in a year?" And for the most part, the answer is usually no.

By taking this broader view of everyday occurrences I find myself not getting bogged down in everyday frustrations — hopefully saving my energy for the important parts of life (that really will matter in a year!).

"Don't Sweat the Small Stuff" provides how to strategies for keeping it all in perspective, such as: Repeat to Yourself, "Life Isn't an Emergency,"; Turn Your Melodrama into a Mellow Drama; Remember, One Hundred Years from Now, All New People; Keep Asking Yourself, "What's Really Important"; and Live This Day as if It Were Your Last. It Might Be!

I keep this book on my nightstand and continue to read it when life seems to be bringing me down, and always, in a matter of moments, after I pick it up I begin to feel a whole lot better.
